*Required Experience & Skills*
* *Minimum 5 years* of experience in *wet and dry utility construction*. * Knowledge of *utility conduit installation*, *structure/vault placement*, *phone/comm*, *gas*, *water*, *sewer*, and *street light installation*. * Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including *excavation*, *trenching*, *vault installation*, *saw cutting*, *concrete work*, and *asphalt restoration*. * Valid driver’s license (*CDL preferred*).
*Position Overview* The *Underground Utility Construction Foreman* is part of our Civil Construction Division and reports directly to the Civil Superintendent. This role is responsible for leading and managing utility construction crews, ensuring projects are completed *on time, on budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards*.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Supervise and work alongside crews in *underground utility installation*. * Operate heavy machinery, perform manual labor, and ensure *safe excavation practices*. * Direct daily work assignments and monitor crew productivity. * Ensure all *OSHA safety standards* and company policies are followed. * Coordinate with inspectors, utility companies, and project stakeholders. * Manage jobsite materials, equipment transportation, and deliveries. * Conduct *daily safety tailboard meetings* and maintain proper documentation. * Train and mentor crew members, promoting skill development. * Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized. * Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
