Senior Construction Inspector (CMT)

Responsibilities:
- Perform field services for soils, foundations, pavement sections, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, wood framing, structural steel and other special inspections, as applicable.
- Coordinate with contractors, and NOVA staff regarding execution of required services and result of testing and/or inspections, as applicable.
- Prepare detailed and complete daily field reports
One or more of the following certifications is required:
- SCDOT Foundations Technician
- ICC Reinforced Concrete
- ACI Concrete Field Technician (minimum licensure)
Core Competencies:
- Ability to read construction plans, details and specifications
- Ability to apply basic mathematical formulas and concepts for performing calculations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
