Our valued client is constructing improvements to their wastewater treatment plant through the addition of an ultraviolet disinfection system,.replacing the existing UV disinfection system, replacing grit classifiers, replacing and relocating the existing backup generator, replacing two aeration blowers, installing a I centrifuge dewatering unit, and installing new HVAC units for the existing Equipment Building and we are looking for our next Senior Inspector to help drive construction observation and administration!

In the role of Senior Construction Inspector, we'll count on you to: Provide general observation including:

Observe, record, and report Contractor’s daily work progress Documents for work

Maintain work deficiency log in the DMS.

Create daily field reports

Review approved shop drawings

Photograph construction to document progress or deficiencies.

Monitor the prequalification of soils and concrete materials

Observe and document pressure

Review tagging of equipment

Coordinate training activities

Conduct or coordinate specified inspections and document results. Preferred Qualifications Previous wastewater treatment construction/inspection experience highly desired

Local candidates preferred

Relevant Industry Certifications

Certified Construction Manager certification a plus

Required Qualifications Requires high school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience may substitute experience for a high school diploma) A minimum of 5 years experience Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) Strong written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must HDR's Drug and Alcohol Policy supports our commitment to employee safety and exceeding client requirements.
