My client, a privately owned firm delivers advanced design, engineering, building and construction, and advisory services with a strong focus on environmentally responsible practices. The Senior Project Manager will oversee and guide all aspects of assigned design, consulting, or building-related efforts, with a focus on manufacturing, food & beverage, life sciences, and industrial construction projects.

Job Description

Lead and manage consulting, design, or construction activities for assigned projects. Ensure project execution aligns with defined goals, client expectations, and quality standards. Oversee key project areas including safety, subcontractor coordination, and change management. Monitor and report on project progress, schedule, and budget performance. Manage project staffing to ensure appropriate resource allocation. Implement and enforce adherence to project-specific quality plans. Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships. Drive financial performance and profitability across assigned projects. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously as needed. Guide efforts that involve various technical or professional specialties across different areas. Work toward earning credentials relevant to the field, such as project oversight or asset planning designations. Oversee planning, advisory, or execution efforts tied to assigned initiatives, ensuring alignment with goals, expectations, success benchmarks, and quality standards. Act as the main liaison for client interactions, with an emphasis on delivering a positive experience that encourages continued collaboration.

The Successful Applicant

Holds a relevant academic background in the built environment or a closely related technical field. Brings at least seven years of hands-on experience, ideally within a design-focused or site-based setting. Possesses strong abilities in guiding teams, communicating effectively, and staying organized. Works well with others and has experience directing or mentoring peers. Has previously taken on supporting or lead responsibilities within a specialized area or broader project environment. Understands the essential functions across major technical areas and how they contribute to planning and execution in both design and construction phases.
