: Parsons is seeking a talented Senior Construction Manager to join our Wastewater Systems team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will lead a team of professionals providing construction management services on large-scale water and wastewater projects in Southern California. The Senior Construction Manager oversees planning, staffing, coordination, and direction to meet contractual requirements. This includes liaising with contractors on compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards from project initiation through closeout. Responsibilities also include hiring, supervising staff, and supporting business development activities. Our ideal candidate is versatile, proactive, energetic, and client-focused, with excellent communication, analytical, and management skills. This role primarily supports projects in Southern California but offers flexibility to work remotely across California with a hybrid schedule. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business development to identify and secure new projects. Represent the company with clients and oversee project staff during execution. Manage technical, manpower, fiscal, and administrative functions of projects, ensuring compliance. Develop and implement action plans for cost control and schedule management, advising clients and management of changes. Negotiate scope changes and follow up on contractual commitments. Required Skills and Qualifications: Senior-level experience managing complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams. 4-year degree in engineering or construction management; a master's degree and professional registration are preferred. 15+ years of field construction experience, especially in California, with a focus on large-scale water/wastewater projects valued at over $100 million. Experience with alternative project delivery methods such as Progressive Design-Build and CMAR is highly desirable. Desired Skills: Strong client and stakeholder relationship skills. Experience with project compliance auditing and OSHA safety certification. Ability to work on-site as required. This position contributes to our Critical Infrastructure team, dedicated to designing and delivering projects that enhance communities and promote sustainability.
