Position Overview:
Cornerstone Engineering Inc., an award-winning and fast-growing company, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Construction Project Manager in the construction and engineering industry. A successful candidate must demonstrate leadership, a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and integrity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, quality control, and project coordination to ensure the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Supervise and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure compliance with contract documents and project specifications. Conduct and document site observations and quality control inspections to ensure work is in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans to achieve project objectives. Read, interpret, and review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify potential conflicts and discrepancies. Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and project documentation. Prepare and present progress reports to clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Track and manage project meeting minutes, action items, and correspondence. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, contractual obligations, and industry standards. Lead and mentor junior project managers and inspectors to enhance team capabilities. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service and responsiveness. Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations. Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership. Minimum Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience in construction project management, civil engineering, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline preferred. Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, and quality control. Proficiency in reading construction drawings, project management software, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills with experience working with contractors, clients, and leadership. Proven leadership in team management, mentoring, and problem-solving. Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects under pressure. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed). Rewards & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience and education.
