Position Summary:
The Senior Project Manager at Renova One will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale renovation, restoration, and construction projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a strategic leader who will oversee the full project lifecycle, manage project teams, coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for risk management, quality assurance, and ensuring that all projects comply with regulations, safety standards, and contract requirements.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Lead and manage multiple large-scale renovation, restoration, and construction projects from start to finish
Navigate and coordinate challenging logistics, including occupied units and multi-phase construction
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deliverables
Oversee project execution and monitor progress, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards
Manage and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or changes to project scope, timeline, or budget
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively solving problems to minimize delays or disruptions
Review and approve project estimates, schedules, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and feasibility
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle
Review contracts and ensure that all terms and conditions are met
Manage project finances, including tracking and controlling costs, approving change orders, and ensuring projects stay within budget
Lead project meetings, including regular team check-ins and client updates
Foster a culture of collaboration, ensuring that team members are supported and aligned with project goals
Conduct post-project evaluations to assess successes, identify areas for improvement, and incorporate lessons learned into future projects
Mentor and support junior project managers and project coordinators, providing guidance and fostering professional development
Qualifications:
At least 7 years of experience in project management within the construction, renovation, or related industries
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects with budgets of $1M or more
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, building codes, and safety regulations
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
Strong understanding of financial management, including budget control and cost tracking
