Senior Superintendent Healthcare Construction We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent with a strong background in large-scale healthcare construction, particularly hospital projects exceeding $80 million in value. This role will lead the on-site management of complex, high-stakes healthcare construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met while maintaining exceptional communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of hospital construction operations, OSHPD or AHCA compliance (as applicable), infection control procedures, and the ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and project phases in a live healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead all on-site construction activities for hospital projects from groundbreaking to closeout. Develop, manage, and update detailed site logistics plans, schedules, and phasing plans. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and site operations. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and infection control measures (ICRA). Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across all aspects of the project. Conduct daily site walks, safety audits, and coordination meetings with trades and project teams. Monitor and report progress against the construction schedule; proactively address issues to mitigate delays or cost overruns. Manage RFIs, submittals, and coordination drawings in conjunction with project engineers. Enforce compliance with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and healthcare-specific construction requirements. Serve as the on-site face of the company and maintain strong client and vendor relationships. Qualifications: Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a Senior Superintendent or equivalent role. Proven track record managing hospital/healthcare construction projects valued at $80 million+. Deep knowledge of healthcare construction codes, AHCA/OSHPD (or relevant state authority) standards, and infection control protocols. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts. OSHA 30 certification required; CHC, ASHE, or other healthcare construction certifications a plus. Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Equal Opportunity Employer.
