Senior Estimator - Marine Construction

The Senior Estimator is responsible for gathering details and compiling data to estimate all production costs according to bid documents.

This position will be located in Weeks Construction Houston, TX office.

Analyze plans and specifications

Perform site visit(s) and meets with owners and designers if required

Prepare take-offs

Prepare budgetary estimates

Establishes means and methods of construction and performs engineering analyses to support means and methods

Prepare costs analysis for certain or all portions of the projects

Solicit quotes from subcontractors and vendors

Prepare construction schedule and perform cash-flow analyses

Close out bids and assist in preparation of supporting documentation

From time to time, visits projects, and prepares cost analyses

10+ years of experience in Heavy Civil Marine Construction with at least 3 years in estimating preferred

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology/Management required

Proficient skills in standard computer software packages

Supervisory experience preferred

This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language
