My client provides Service Bid and Design-Build services to clients in the Healthcare and Manufacturing markets. They foster relationships with their clients to add value. They are the prime manufacturer and builder in the Design Manufacture Construct (DMC) system. In other words, they manufacture huge building chunks that can be transported and assembled on-site into complex buildings quickly. This company self-performs multiple trades across their projects including MEP, Structural Erection, and Interior Finishes / Carpentry. Projects range in value but are typically upwards of $20M and are located across the Southeast.

Job Description
Overall leadership of the program, including: Client Management in alignment with Program Design Manager
Schedule Management, including integration & communication across DMC
Budget/Estimate/Pricing Management, including communication of budget targets across DMC
Program Launch Management in alignment with the Program Design Manager and DMC Departments
Feedback Loop Management in alignment with the Program Design Manager and DMC Departments
Develop Program Structure, including roles, tools, standards and processes
Identify and address major constraints impeding the program
Manage, develop, and mentor the program team
Work closely with the Director of Construction to assure successful onsite construction of the modular units, including safety, quality, budget, and schedule
Direct preparation of program and project estimates
Establishes broad, overall strategy for project management and construction.
Direct preparation and approval of all schedules, including the program schedules, master project schedules, and construction progress schedules, and periodic schedule revisions. Make key decisions affecting schedule, consulting with client as appropriate.
Direct preparation of and approval of detailed cost estimates. Assist in resolution of discrepancies or conflicts between conceptual and detailed estimates.
Review project status, budgets, and schedule with Project Managers on a regular basis. Participate in client negotiations as needed. Approve initial billing Schedule of Values. Review Summary Cost Reports.
Management of an entire project or series of projects, including safety, quality, budget, and schedule.
Management of project launch and planning in collaboration with teams across the organization.
Management of multiple projects with different team structures, including self-perform, trade partners, and general contractor partners.
Management of client relations, correspondence, periodic reports, change orders and response to client & customer inquiries.
Development of assistant project management personnel through mentoring and on-the-job training.
Ensure project is closed out promptly and efficiently.
Daily communication and coordination with Design, Manufacturing, and Construction teams.
Coordination with internal departments including shipping, logistics, and self-perform.
Project financials and change management
Responsible for communication and coordination with client project management.
Collaborate with jobsite team for planning site logistics for permanent jobsite installations and module delivery and setting.
Collaborate with jobsite team for efficient management of site facilities and general conditions cost.
Responsible for documenting and communicating lessons learned into continuous improvement processes.
Manage relationships with customers, internal team, subcontractors, and local authorities.

The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or greater in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or similar
Management of complex construction projects (5-10 years)
Project Management experience (>5 years)
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and construction documents and properly communicate missing information or discrepancies.
General knowledge of construction means and methods across all trades.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements for current and future projects.
Leadership, business, management, organization, interpersonal relationships, sales/presentation, writing, communication, negotiation, estimating/pricing and scheduling.
Ability to understand and execute the company vision and values of DMC and 2x2x2
Experience with client interaction/customer service in a demanding environment
Expertise in managing resources, budgets, schedules and materials in a demanding environment
Knowledge of estimating, construction methods, engineering, equipment and technology
Excellent understanding of safety procedures.
Excellent organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration and analytical skills
Ability to analyze and solve problems with follow-through and documentation
Comfortable using Adobe, Bluebeam, MS Office suite and CAD
