Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned and dedicated Sr. Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily residential projects from start to finish. The first assignment is a 320-unit luxury apartment development in Knoxville, TN. This role is ideal for a team-oriented leader who thrives on mentoring junior staff and driving project excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead ground-up multifamily construction projects through full lifecycle execution
Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
Manage subcontractors and resolve field issues proactively
Oversee construction budgets and participate in pre-construction planning
Ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards
Travel monthly to job sites for oversight and team coordination (expenses covered)
Collaborate with developers, architects, and internal teams to align project goals
Required Qualifications 5–8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in ground-up multifamily construction
Recent experience managing multifamily projects (150–250 units preferred)
Proven full lifecycle project management (pre-construction to closeout)
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Experience with budgeting and subcontractor coordination
Willingness to travel monthly to Knoxville, TN
Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis Monday–Friday
Preferred Skills & Credentials Familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Project
Experience in senior living, mixed-use, or podium construction
Degree in Construction Management
OSHA 30 certification and other safety credentials
Hands-on field experience
Work Environment & Perks In-office role with flexible hours (40–45 hours/week)
Monthly travel with all expenses covered (lodging, meals, rental car)

Clear path for promotion to Project Executive
