Role Overview The Senior Project Manager provides leadership and on-site direction for all aspects of healthcare construction projects. Responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, cost management, resource allocation, project accounting, and quality assurance, ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance. They will also develop project staff to meet performance goals and exceed client expectations. Ideal Candidate Proven track record in healthcare construction, with a deep understanding of inpatient acute care hospital projects' challenges and regulations. Responsibilities Supervise Quality Managers, Office Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Assistants Ensure proper staffing Conduct estimating handoff and project kick-off meetings Hold planning meetings and follow pre-planning processes Assist with risk management strategies Analyze and write subcontracts, create bid tabs, and pre-qualify subcontractors Review purchases with Superintendent Manage proposed changes and chair weekly meetings Prepare monthly billing and maintain project schedules Review job cost reports and forecasts Monitor safety programs and project closeout procedures Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of commercial construction experience, specifically in healthcare construction. Strong knowledge of regulations, codes, and best practices for inpatient acute care hospital projects (preferred). Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
