We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Construction Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design, planning, and execution of complex infrastructure, telecommunications, and building projects. This role requires deep technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and engineering excellence.
As a Senior Construction Engineer, you will lead technical initiatives, provide expert guidance on construction methodologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. You will be instrumental in integrating emerging technologies and sustainable practices into our construction processes.
The Main Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy
Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and solution architects.
Define and execute the strategic roadmap for innovation in construction engineering in alignment with business and product strategy.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence considering continuous improvement, energy efficiency, durability, time to market and safety.
Architecture & Engineering
Identify, evaluate, and implement new construction methods, materials, and technologies (e.g., modular construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Prime Power and other innovative designs).
Collaborate with R&D, technology vendors, and academic partners to pilot and scale innovative solutions.
Drive adoption of digital tools such as BIM, AI-driven project analytics
Guide teams in adopting modern technologies
Project
Create and or provide technical oversight and guidance on complex construction Scope of work, Architecture Creation (A&E), Construction Drawing (CD) creation and other project related activities.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goals.
Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to assess the impact of innovative solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with product managers, engineering teams, and business leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Advocate for architectural integrity and long-term scalability in cross-functional initiatives.
Communicate technical concepts and business value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Capability Development
Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept initiatives.
Develop internal capabilities through working with peer training groups for documentation, mentorship, and hands-on technical leadership.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
7+ years of experience in construction engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven history of implementing innovative construction solutions or technologies.
Strong understanding of construction codes, safety standards, and project delivery methods.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Experience with Lean Construction, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), or Design-Build.
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (e.g., LEED, WELL) and carbon reduction strategies.
Knowledge of digital construction platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore).
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges: $82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY. $87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI. $91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
