Job Description
The Role
To be responsible for all aspects of the region´s Schools capital projects management, and building regulatory compliance, to ensure premises are safe, clean and functionally available all the time to carry out learning activities.
Main Responsibilities
Capital projects management:
1. To be responsible for management of the construction of the region´s portfolio of property projects, including design, development, management of RFPs for architect, FF&E suppliers, engineers, contractors, and all procurement vendors and supervision of construction projects, oversight until project completion, management of permits and other related activities, assuring completion and all necessary regulatory approvals for use in our schools.
2. To apply all related ISP policies while performing duties of the role.
3. To support schools in developing and fine-tuning capital expenditure requests, development and submittal.
4. To develop and implement regional project management guidelines.
5. To collaborate to determine school pupil capacity and track and report all changes.
6. To maintain a good working relationship and regular communication with landlords of schools as they relate to their responsibilities,
7. To assure that external contractors and suppliers are aware of all relevant safety and security policies and procedures, use and operation of alarm system and responsibilities and procedures related to use of keys and access to school and construction sites. To assure that all aspects of school security is up to date and updated as need be, and that any important change is communicated promptly.
8. To produce regular reports for all ongoing projects including key KPIs, and project management status, to assure projects are on time and on budget and deviations are highlighted in a timely fashion through regular reporting.
9. To become familiar and assure that all school projects comply with all relevant norms, regulations, permits, relevant local, state or federal laws and school policies and procedures,
10. This is a Facility Function. To assure confidentiality regarding all ISP, school, construction and any other information used or exposed to as part of the role.
11. To play an active role in continued personal development, taking advantage for training and courses.
12. To perform any other tasks that are appropriate for this role, when necessary.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, or equivalent work experience
.Minimum 12-15 years construction project management
· Certified project manager will be a plus.
· Experience using Microsoft Suite, with advance Excel Skills.
· Active drivers license.

· Knowledge of local regulations of health and safety.
· Will require travel across the US depending on location of school projects.
Knowledge Base
· Knowledge of Building and fire department codes, health and safety, construction parameters and educational infrastructure’ requirements.
· Knowledge of electrical safety, working at heights, personal protective equipment requirements.
· Knowledge of property security, access control, CCTV operation, security incident management, car & pedestrians transit regulations.
· Knowledge of hygiene in schools, water purification, wastewater treatment.
