Multi-Family Construction Senior Superintendent
Our client is a leading general construction contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality projects in the greater Indianapolis, Indiana area. They are looking to add a Senior Superintendent that will be the leader on the ground for their complex, multi-family projects including, but not limited to, apartments, assisted living and healthcare facilities.
What You ll Be Doing:
Oversee daily field operations on construction projects from ground-up through closeout.
Coordinate & supervise all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, & field personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time & within budget.
Monitor & enforce strict safety compliance with company & OSHA standards.
Develop & manage construction schedules.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, & Owners to ensure design intent & construction goals are aligned.
Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors & internal staff to review progress, address issues, & plan upcoming work.
Perform regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, & industry standards.
Review & verify subcontractor work, approve time/materials, manage site documentation, including daily reports, logs, & photos.
Help mentor & lead junior superintendents, foremen, and field engineers.
Coordinate inspections with building departments & resolve any field-related code or compliance issues.
Other assigned tasks.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
8+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction required, specifically in wood frame construction of 100+ multi-family units.
5+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity required.
OSHA 30-hour, PMP or other relevant certifications preferred.
Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
