Key Responsibilities:-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across all market segments.-
Identify project opportunities and secure new truss orders through proactive business development.-
Understand and communicate technical truss design concepts and structural solutions to builders, architects, and engineers.-
Prepare and present detailed proposals and cost estimates.-
Collaborate with internal design and production teams to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment of orders.-
Track market trends, construction project timelines, and competitor activities.-
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to grow your client base and stay ahead of market demands.-
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Qualifications:-
3+ years of experience in truss-
Proficiency with truss design software (, Alpine or MiTek). (Alpine preferable)-
Proven experience in truss sales, with established industry contacts.-
Understanding of structural systems and construction processes.-
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.-
Ability to interpret blueprints and architectural plans.-
Self-motivated, goal-driven, and highly organized.-
Ability to manage long sales cycles and large accounts.-
No formal license required-industry training or certifications are a plus.

Schedule:-
Full-time, remote position with visits to client and project sites.-
Monday through Friday
Work Location:-
Location based Romulus, MI - Travel is required for client meetings and site visits. (local to South East Michigan region)
