Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction as a Lab Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2025.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities
Calibrate lab instruments Prepare and collect water samples on-site Set up and clean up lab sessions Assist the instructor during lab sessions Grade assignments and lab reports Proctor exams Shift Specifics Up to 8 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education Taken CENG 3132 Intro to Water & Wastewater Treatment before with Grade above B
Proposed Salary
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
