Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee various commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively managing subcontractors and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Prepare and maintain project reports, including daily logs, progress updates, and budget tracking. Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and engineers to address any issues and implement solutions. Ensure that all construction work complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Assist in the development and management of project schedules and work plans.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects, including office buildings, retail, healthcare, warehouses/distribution centers, process plants, etc. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations. Excellent leadership and project management skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
