About this Job:
We are seeking a talented Tax Manager with construction experience to join our expanding team! This position is fully remote, based in the U.S.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced specialized tax expertise
- Review research findings, tax returns, and work papers; formulate conclusions consistent with firm policies and professional standards; determine implications and best course of action for the client
- Ensure all tax advice is technically correct and properly documented
- Understand the firms policies, procedures, and professional standards
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Dedicate time to coaching and developing others through training, providing opportunities for them to succeed
- Actively communicate the clients needs and facts to the appropriate team members to execute the work
- Build relationships across industry service groups to ensure client service excellence through an integrated approach
- Develop trust with clients and team members
- Manage the progression of quality deliverables on time, within scope, and within budget or realization goal
Qualifications:
- Must be motivated, able to multi-task, and organized; maintain a positive attitude; be cooperative and flexible about work assignments and in assisting other team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting (MST/MBA is a plus)
- CPA license
- 5+ years of work experience; prior experience in the construction industry is a must
- Strong technical skills in taxation
