Job Summary

As a Tradesman in the Restoration Industry, you will be responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled construction, repair, *painting/texturing*, and related tasks on residential and commercial properties affected by water or storm damage. You will work hands-on in the field to restore structures to pre-loss condition and conduct yourself as a company and referrer advocate while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Restoration & Repair

• Perform demolition, framing, drywall, *painting/texturing*, flooring, cabinetry, and finish carpentry.
• Install and repair insulation, trim, windows, doors, and baseboards as needed.
• Assist in reconstruction of residential and commercial interiors post-loss.

Site Operations

• Set up job sites safely and securely, including dust barriers and containment zones.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment regularly.
• Ensure all work is performed according to company, safety, and regulatory standards.

Customer Communication

• Interact professionally and courteously with property owners, tenants, and insurance adjusters.
• Explain work being done and answer basic questions about the repair process.

Project Documentation

• Document work progress using company apps or software (photos, notes, logs).
• Follow assigned work orders, update status regularly, and report any issues promptly.

Team Collaboration

• Work under the direction of the General Manager and Marketing Coordinator
• Coordinate tasks with technicians, subcontractors, and other tradesmen as required.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of hands-on construction, carpentry, and painting/texturing experience
• Proficiency with power tools and common building materials
• Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and practices
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability

Preferred:

• IICRC certification(s) in WRT, ASD, or similar
