Job Title: Traveling Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction Location: Travel-based (Project Sites Across Region) Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: Minimum 2 years - 5 years preferred Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Traveling Project Engineer to support complex heavy civil construction projects in the field. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working on projects involving bridge, highway, marine, dam, or wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) scopes. This position is project-based, requiring full-time presence on the job site with relocation to the next project upon completion. Periodic travel home is supported. Key Responsibilities: Assist project managers and superintendents with day-to-day operations on site Track quantities, prepare reports, and support schedule and cost management Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors Ensure work is completed in compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards Support submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document control Provide engineering and technical support to field teams Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy civil construction. 5+ years is a plus Project experience in one or more of the following is required: bridge, heavy highway, marine, dam, or WWTP construction Ability to travel and live on or near job sites for the duration of each project Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary Per diem for travel and lodging expenses 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Profit-sharing bonus program Paid time off and company holidays All inquiries are confidential - mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
