ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB?
This is a full-time position. Work schedules and project timelines will be shared based on each project's needs. As a Traveling Construction Superintendent, you will travel to different job sites and spend most of your time supervising construction crews. Here's how you'll spend your time:
- Jobsite Relationships & Management (25%): Supervise and occasionally self-perform construction activities while traveling to job sites, resolving issues quickly, maintaining team alignment, and building strong, positive relationships that reflect our core values.
- Maintaining the Schedule (25%): Direct subcontractors and vendors to keep work on track, update project schedules, order materials, prepare reports, and step in with hands-on tasks as needed to ensure timely completion.
- Managing Onsite Job Costs (15%): Monitor field activity to stay aligned with budgets, inspect work, manage change requests, and collaborate with Project Managers to control job costs effectively.
- Safety & Quality (15%): Enforce jobsite safety standards, lead safety meetings, ensure subcontractor compliance, and maintain clean, organized sites that meet our quality expectations.
- Punch List & Closeout (20%): Lead the punch list process through final completion, clearly communicate expectations to subcontractors, and evaluate their performance for continuous improvement.

- 3+ years of experience in a large-scale professional commercial construction environment
- Strong accountability and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
Cutting-edge technical savvy skills are preferred!
