Traveling Safety Manager - Mission Critical Construction

The safety manager is responsible for ensuring safety on multi-million dollar projects nationally. They will be developing, maintaining, and implementing training for all safety standards on-site for a portfolio of national projects. This person will be the primary point of contact between the field and leadership team. The goal for this role is to to uphold safety procedures and continually foster a culture of safety on all job sites.

Description
Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and programs.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
Provide safety training and education to all employees, subcontractors, and site visitors.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
Maintain records of safety activities, inspections, training, and incident reports.
Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
Manage incident response and coordinate with medical personnel when necessary.
Recommend and enforce disciplinary actions for safety violations
Profile
Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in construction.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification or equivalent.
Willingness to travel nationally.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze and resolve safety issues effectively.
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or related field required.
Willingness to travel nationally full time
Job Offer
Starting base salary up to $170,000
