Overview

TRC is hiring a VP of Construction Services.

Responsibilities

Provide construction management support in areas of technical complexity; perform billable work for clients within areas of expertise; serve as one of the interfaces for the department with clients, other company departments, outside consultants, contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers on technically related matters. Responsible for ensuring field employees are adhering to safety and quality standards, resource planning, training and mentoring, and coordinating project assignments. Provide executive leadership relative to TRC culture, strategic planning, business development, financial performance for projects and sector. Maintain a close and professional rapport with TRC internal services of HR, IT, Finance, Payroll and legal. Work within and promote the processes and procedures within TRC.

Qualifications

Shall have demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills, the ability to effectively market TRC services outside the Company specifically in the area of materials source inspection, provide excellent customer service, practice high level project management, be innovative, and maintain a high level of integrity. Must have excellent verbal and written skills and be able to communicate and negotiate effectively with clients, agencies, and the general public. A competent reviewer of direct report capabilities to maximize the effectiveness of the group while ensuring that all projects are properly staffed to obtain desired results. Must have good PC skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have the ability to speak in public forums and nominal knowledge of power point or other presentation tools Must have adequate competency in financial analysis i.e. profit and loss, utilization, labor reports etc. Willingness to work outside normal standard (8) hour workday and engage in the industry for market understanding and business development. Willingness and ability to reasonably conduct remote work, via use of lap tops, cell phone, hot spot, and or other portable devices Valid driver's license issued by state of residence and is in good standing. Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
