About the Role
The company is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Construction Operations to lead the establishment and growth of a new office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who will be responsible for building and mentoring a talented team from the ground up. You will play a crucial role in the strategic and operational management of construction activities across diverse regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans aimed at optimizing construction operations.
Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for multiple projects.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with other departments and manage stakeholder relationships.
Drive continuous process improvements to enhance overall productivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in residential construction, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record in managing large-scale home building operations.
Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry regulations.
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to mentor, lead a team, and balance strategic planning with daily operations.
Knowledge of sustainable building practices and lean construction principles is a plus.
Travel Requirement: Less than 10%
