About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Outside Plant Construction and Engineering to lead the planning, design, and construction of new fiber optic networks in both new and existing markets. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing upgrades to existing HFC and copper networks. This role involves working closely with the CTO and other senior executives to define infrastructure goals, providing strategic leadership to construction and engineering departments, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards. The VP will be expected to have a strong background in construction management, knowledge of fiber network planning and engineering principles, and a proven track record in large-scale fiber deployment projects.

Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including at least 5 years in senior leadership managing outside plant construction and engineering. Essential skills include broad knowledge of construction standards in the telecommunications industry, general knowledge of outside plant engineering principles, and expertise in fiber deployment. The role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as strong financial acumen and the ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects.
