About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Outside Plant Construction and Engineering to lead the planning, design, and construction of new fiber optic networks in both new and existing markets. This role is pivotal in overseeing upgrades to existing HFC and copper networks and requires a strategic leader with a strong background in construction management, knowledge of fiber network planning and engineering principles, and a proven track record in delivering large-scale fiber deployment projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the CTO and other senior executives to define infrastructure goals, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities for the Vice President include providing strategic leadership to construction and engineering departments, managing operating and capital budgets, and mitigating risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The role also involves negotiating and managing relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, as well as serving as the primary point of contact for all construction-related matters with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong financial acumen, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement are essential for this position.
