POSITION SUMMARY :
Our Virtual Design and Construction Modeler will be an integral member of the project team, collaborating on diverse project types associated with the delivery of healthcare, science & technology, mission critical, and education programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Modeling in Revit from conceptual design to shop drawings, coordinate electrical trade
BIM model elements per NEC and facilitate collaboration and communication with Field
supervision, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Trade contractors to co-generate models
for use by the pre-construction team, estimating department, pre-fabrication shop, and
field operations team.
Understands how to navigate and work in a Central Model Work shared project
environment. Familiar with IPD type contract workflows.
Understands the collaborative nature of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM Docs.
Understanding of Clash Detection & Clash Coordination Process.
Participate in coordination meetings with VDC coordinators and provide technical expertise to project design team members.
Ability to read and review construction documents.
The responsibility of this position includes but is not limited to those listed above and
other duties may be assigned. EDUCATION : Associates in Drafting and Design Preferred
Two years of industry related and software related experience in the construction
or design industries
Must be proficient and have actual project experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks,
Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Applications
Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods preferred EXPERIENCE : Revit - & AutoCAD Electrical
Navisworks Manage -, Revizto, BIM Track, BIM DOC, and ACC
Windows, Bluebeam Revu, Teams, Zoom, and Microsoft Office Applications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, record-keeping
and follow-up skills.
Familiar with building types associated with healthcare and data center architecture.
Contributes to maintaining a positive work environment.
Excellent critical thinking skills to overcome quickly and effectively unforeseen challenges.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Elevated of professionalism in dealing with owners and design professionals.
