Job Listing Summary VP of Construction at Galaxy As the Vice President of Construction, you will be a senior leader responsible for the lifecycle of mission-critical construction projects in domestic and international markets. This role involves leading internal teams, overseeing contractors, and delivering hyperscale-ready data center campuses. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Build and lead a high-performance construction organization. Foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence. Drive performance management and professional development. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various teams.

Construction Execution Oversee all construction phases from preconstruction to turnover. Manage general contractors and design partners to ensure project delivery. Lead multiple concurrent hyperscale developments. Conduct site visits and resolve roadblocks proactively.

Financial & Risk Management Own full project P&L, including budget and cash flow forecasting. Mitigate risk through change order management and reporting. Track key performance indicators and quality standards.

Design & Technical Coordination Collaborate with design and engineering teams for scalable prototypes. Ensure alignment of systems and sustainability features. Lead constructability reviews and value engineering efforts.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the executive lead for project delivery. Maintain relationships with clients during design-build phases. Ensure seamless handoff to operations with commissioned data halls.

Required Experience 7+ years managing large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects. Proven expertise in data center construction and commissioning. Experience in major U.S. data center markets (e.g., Dallas, Ashburn). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. PMP, CCM, or similar certifications are a plus.
