R & D Thiel a nationally recognized manufacturer of residential building components and supplier of carpentry labor services is seeking an experienced Wall Panel Designer for their operation located in Belvidere, IL. Expertise is needed in the design of wall panel components for fabrication and field installation. Following skill sets are required: Ability to interpret and transfer data from Architectural Drawings combined with Carpentry Field Framing Experience. Proficiency in design software - ITW-Intel-a-Build preferred with CAD and component design. Knowledge of construction principles and industry standards. Strong mathematical and problem solving skills. An effective understanding of the residential construction market and post-secondary education in drafting or CAD with some design experience are priority requirements. Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
