About the Role As a Construction Assistant for Commercial Remodeling, you’ll work both independently and collaboratively on special projects across our apartment communities and commercial properties. Based out of Newport News, VA, this position involves travel within a 2-hour radius to properties, with occasional trips to regional hubs including Raleigh, Charlotte, Charleston, and other Southeast markets. Your responsibilities include estimating project timelines, managing your schedule, and executing hands-on renovation work with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll coordinate with onsite maintenance and leasing teams to deliver high-impact results.
