Responsibilities:
Send timely reports to Assistant Project Managers as well as any questions or concerns.
A Designer II has architectural knowledge to support the project. These Designer II's are qualified to train Designer I per company standards.
Assist in coordinating the process of obtaining permits and overseeing tasks to ensure compliance with regulations and successful project execution.
Utilize and review computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam to create and review accurate and precise architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D models.
Assist to ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards while developing architectural designs.
Assist with conduct site analysis to understand the context, topography, and environmental factors that may impact the design process.
Assist with determining the optimal allocation and organization of spaces within a building, considering functionality, circulation, and user requirements.
Assist with researching and selecting appropriate building materials, finishes, and interior elements that meet project requirements and budget constraints.
Prepare construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules, to communicate design intent to contractors and facilitate the construction process.
Document communication with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Assist in preforming administrative tasks, including assisting with budgeting (Consultant & Fee Schedule) and documenting project progress (Trello), to ensure timely and successful project completion as per client and company goals.
Assist with generating POs properly as per company standards.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an architectural or design firm, with a demonstrated ability to contribute to complex projects.
Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong design and graphic presentation skills.
Good understanding of building codes and construction processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative.
