We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager with an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality to join our Project Delivery and Construction team located in Cary, NC. To excel in this role, you will actively assist in coordinating all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications, encompassing various tasks such as project coordination, procurement, construction billings, job and project schedule analysis, documentation, and generating reports. You’ll also play a key role in resource coordination to achieve project goals and establish positive client relationships. As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll contribute to the generation of project scopes of work and supports the Procurement Manager in bid preparation and analysis. You’ll diligently maintain project schedules, collaborate closely with the Construction Manager and Site Superintendent to monitor performance and address any deviations, and ensure accurate cost reporting by closely working with the Construction Manager and Superintendents to reflect field events and conditions. You will collaborate with Project Services to manage project costs, oversees site safety for assigned projects, and takes appropriate measures to ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree. 4-6 years of experience in Engineering, Project Delivery or a related discipline. Context, Environment, & Safety This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project. You may be assigned to the client site for an extended period of time. Overnight travel or staying in the city of the client’s location is possible depending on the assignment. You will visit client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules. This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for fieldwork for IPS employees or subcontractors. All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required .
