Job Summary
Our multi-national construction client is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Assistant Manager. EH&S Manager responsibilities Ensure regulatory compliance by integrating EHS services into project operations.
Identify and mitigate safety hazards to create a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, including Superintendents, Project Managers, and Executives.
Lead safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety across the project site.
Monitor and enforce EHS policies to align with company values and industry best practices.
Conduct safety training, audits, and inspections to enhance workplace safety standards.
Collaborate with EHS leadership to implement company-wide safety strategies. EH&S Assistant Manager requirements 5+ years of construction industry EHS experience
Holder of an OSHA 500-hour certificate
Current First Aid, CPR and AED certification
Current on continuing education units on topics like: Fall Protection, Scaffolds, excavation, confined space, crane operations, electrical and/or incident investigation EH&S Assistant Compensation Highlights: $80-90k annually
