Assistant Project Manager, Construction We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our project management team in executing commercial tilt-up and ground-up construction projects. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and ready to grow into a leadership role in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager with coordination of all project phases from pre-construction through closeout Help manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation Prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes Track materials, procurement, and subcontractor progress Participate in project meetings and job site walkthroughs Maintain communication with internal teams, clients, and vendors Support safety compliance and quality assurance efforts Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and updates Requirements: 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with ground-up and tilt-wall projects Strong understanding of construction documents and processes Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction software (Procore, Bluebeam preferred) Excellent organizational and communication skills Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Benefits: Competitive salary and performance bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Career advancement opportunities and mentorship About Us Uprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
