The Associate Manager, Regional Construction supports their Regional Construction Manager in executing capital expenditure, vacant space preparation and tenant improvement projects in his or her geographic area. He or she will be responsible for supporting the budgeting, organizing, tracking, and execution of all projects in a timely and cost-effective manner and in accordance with Link's SOPs. This position will report to the Regional Construction Manager.

- Position may be based in Link's West Coast headquarters office in Irvine, CA, or one of its Los Angeles field offices
Responsibilities:
- Execute basic capital projects as determined by their Regional Construction Manager within established time frames and budget guidelines and serve as main point of contact for contractors and consultants regarding construction related issues.
- Uphold vendor selection integrity by adhering to corporate guidelines, increase the number of qualified vendors servicing the region, and establish and maintain good working relationships with vendors throughout the market.
- Provided support for contract- and invoice-related documentation and maintain up-to-date job data within Link's data platform.
- Coordinate and communicate with the construction, construction operations, property management, and asset management teams on timelines and costs for construction jobs.
- Accurately forecast annual capital costs across a regional portfolio of assets as part of annual budgeting process and provide guidance to the acquisition/disposition teams to help with deal creation and overall understanding of capital costs and project schedules.
- Regular weekly travel across Southern California is required to oversee and support construction-managed projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in construction management, construction/building science, engineering or architecture and design preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial construction experience required, with 2+ years of experience in both new construction and renovations/rehabs preferred, at either a general contractor, subcontractor, or construction management firm.
- Ability to understand and evaluate construction documents, legal contracts, AIA documents, and other related construction draw forms
- Experience with project management software, Yardi, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project and Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret key details from lease documentation and actively problem solve and communicate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.
$90,000 - $105,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
