Job Description

Collaborate closely with the Vice President of the Northeast Region and broader BD teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Develop and execute marketing and growth strategies focused on financial performance and client satisfaction. Research and target public and private sector clients in education, healthcare, affordable housing, and civic infrastructure. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Track industry trends, competitor activity, and upcoming project leads in the Mid-Atlantic region. Support preconstruction and proposal teams with insight, strategy, and competitive feedback.

The Successful Applicant

4-5 years of business development experience with a General Contractor or Construction Management firm. Strong understanding of public-sector work - ideally with familiarity in K-12 schools, affordable housing, healthcare facilities, and recreational centers. Demonstrated experience supporting pursuits ranging from $200K to $100M. Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills. A self-starter who enjoys collaboration, fast-paced environments, and relationship building.
