About the Role:
We are a growing construction company in Madison, WI seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. This is a direct hire position working on-site, first shift, Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, experience in payroll processing, and the ability to support field operations by coordinating work schedules and ensuring smooth day-to-day office functions.
Key Responsibilities: Process weekly payroll accurately and on time Set up and maintain construction workers' daily/weekly schedules Assist with HR functions such as onboarding and timekeeping Maintain organized filing systems (digital and paper) Serve as the main point of contact between the office and field team Order office and site supplies as needed Provide general administrative support to leadership
Qualifications: Proven experience in office management, preferably in the construction industry Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience using payroll systems (QuickBooks, ADP, or similar) Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
