Syndeo Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for a Business Development Rep for a local commercial and residential construction company. This position will be responsible for handling all types of building projects with a focus on expanding our restoration and catastrophe recovery services. The mission is to be the first call for insurance agents, adjusters, and property owners when disaster strikes—offering priority service, seamless coordination with insurance claims, and exceptional results
Position Overview: We’re looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our business across all areas of construction—while leading efforts to expand our restoration and catastrophe recovery work. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships with insurance companies, adjusters, and property managers to secure more restoration opportunities, while also developing relationships that drive ongoing commercial and residential construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and restoration projects. Build and maintain relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, and other industry professionals. Connect directly with insurance adjusters, agents, and property managers to promote our Preferred Client Premier Customer Plan, ensuring they and their clients receive priority service and expert restoration support. Develop and execute a business development strategy that supports both general construction growth and the expansion of restoration services. Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered to the highest standard. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities. Qualifications: Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within construction, restoration, or related industries. Strong understanding of restoration, catastrophe recovery, and insurance claims processes. Established network within the insurance industry preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Must not be subject to a non-compete agreement restricting work in restoration/construction. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
