The platform connects the full construction workforce with the supply chain in real-time enabling the efficient management of highly dynamic environments. The platform incorporates scheduling, live tracking, safety processes, and valuable data collection and analysis for optimization of projects and future planning. Post the rollout of the first version of Client's scheduling board on Sydney's tallest residential skyscraper construction project in 2018, the platform has been adopted by all leading top tier builders in Australia and New Zealand and is now growing into the US market. We are now hiring talent to join our well-funded, fast-growing tech business with a strong, experienced team. The Role As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in identifying and engaging with construction companies and projects that can benefit from our solution. This role requires extensive research to prospect high-potential projects and stakeholders who are the right fit for our solution. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth market research to identify construction projects and companies that align with our solutions. Leverage databases, industry reports, and online tools to track and assess high-value opportunities. Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders, including site teams, project managers, superintendents, and business owners. Qualify leads and schedule high-value meetings for our Account Executives. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and leverage sales tools to optimize workflow. Ideal Profile You possess a Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or a related field, and have at least 2 years of experience in business development or lead generation roles. Prior exposure to the construction industry is required to understand industry dynamics, build credibility, and effectively influence decision-makers. You have extensive research abilities and a knack for digging deep into databases and market insights to uncover new opportunities. You are proficient in CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). You have strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, as well as the ability to engage with and build credibility with industry professionals.
