Position Title: Onsite Construction Project Manager

Location: Richardson, TX, 75082 (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (additional hours as needed)
Travel: Up to 50% (including occasional overnight travel)
Pay: $100-105K
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of car wash construction projects. This role involves both office-based planning and active fieldwork, coordinating with general contractors, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring that all build requirements are met.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage installation and construction projects from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate with GCs, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings and site visits.
  • Review site plans, take measurements, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Create installation checklists, verify equipment orders, and monitor equipment delivery timelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation and track progress in project management systems.
  • Plan project budgets, forecast resources, and administer timelines and expenditures.
  • Ensure field staff and contractors follow project scope, safety regulations, and schedules.
  • Communicate with clients, distributors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Update FSM with equipment/warranty information and manage design documentation collection.
  • Enter and manage all projects in internal tracking systems, coordinating billing when necessary.
  • Establish strong client and distributor relationships for continued success and communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Carwash construction experience
  • 5+ years of experience in construction or technical project management.
  • Strong experience coordinating with general contractors and leading field-based projects.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce and SAP preferred.
  • Experience with project management tools and scheduling software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage client expectations.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Must be able to travel frequently (up to 50%) and adapt to changing work environments.

Preferred Experience
  • Background in the car wash industry or related construction sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with quoting, billing, and project scheduling tools.
