Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to perform high-end remodel work. The candidate will be responsible for finish carpentry installations on both remodel and new build construction units. This role involves assisting journeyman-level carpenters and executing light carpentry tasks as directed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform finish carpentry installations.
• Assist journeyman-level carpenters.
• Conduct light carpentry tasks as directed.
• Execute demolition and addition framing.
• Install doors, hardware, cabinets, and millwork.

Essential Skills:

• Construction experience.
• Experience working on commercial remodel projects.
• Proficiency with trim, baseboards, window casings, and framing.
• Competence in window, cabinet, and stairs/railing installation.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license.

Work Environment:

Work is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling a straight 40-hour week. The work environment includes a foreman on site and two other carpenters. Projects are located primarily in the West/NW Metro area of the Twin Cities.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
