Job Description

Team Leadership: Lead the estimating department, overseeing four junior to mid-level estimators

Estimating: Provide detailed cost estimates for commercial and retail construction projects, including financial institutions (banks), offices, and interior renovations

Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, owners, and pre-construction teams to deliver accurate, competitive, and timely bids

Business Development: Support business development by providing conceptual and budget estimates during proposal stages

Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness of all estimates

Mentorship: Mentor and train the estimating team to build long-term internal capabilities

The Successful Applicant

10+ years of construction estimating experience, with a strong focus on commercial retail and financial institutions (banks)

Proven track record of delivering estimates on projects up to $50M

Experienced in both ground-up and renovation work

Skilled in managing and mentoring teams, with the ability to lead, train, and inspire

Strong organizational and communication skills

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments

Committed, detail-oriented, and ready to step into a high-impact leadership role

Competitive Base Salary: up to $200K (commensurate with experience)

Bonus: 25% target, with up to 15% stretch potential
