Were seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our team and drive success across complex civil construction initiatives. About the Role This senior level manager will be managing 2-6 direct reports, reviewing & executing on 20-50 mill of annual work and reporting directly to ownership. This person will be a key decision maker and influencer in long-term initiatives, programs and culture contributions within the company. Responsibilities Oversee multiple project managers and project engineers across ground-up construction and infrastructure contract. Supervise all phases of construction, from estimating to scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Create and manage detailed project work plans and revise as needed to meet scope and timeline changes. Ensure proper administration of contracts and acquisition of all necessary permits and licenses. Monitor day-to-day operational aspects of projects with a focus on profitability and progress tracking. Review and interpret bid documents, specifications, subcontracts, and budgets to anticipate and resolve potential disputes. Supervise project engineers and ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control. Select and coordinate subcontractor work across various project phases. Lead estimating efforts including change pricing and budget forecasting. Manage project accounting including budgeting, cost control, and risk mitigation. Organize and facilitate regular project status meetings to ensure alignment across teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 10+ years of experience managing civil construction projects. Strong knowledge of public/institutional construction requirements and best practices. Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software. Valid drivers license with willingness to travel as needed. Collaborative and professional demeanor. Required Skills Familiarity with project design elements and dispute resolution. Strong budgeting, scheduling, and documentation control skills.
