Civil Litigation Paralegal - Construction Law (234/o)

Leading law firm specializing in construction law is looking to add a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to their team. Ideal candidates will have experience in construction law and/or civil litigation, filing in state and federal court and be able to handle a variety of tasks to support the attorneys. This position is full time on site at the firm's Columbia, SC office.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to construction projects.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
Manage case files and maintain organized records.
Communicate with clients, contractors, and other parties involved in construction projects.
Draft correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
Perform administrative tasks such as court filings, scanning, and data entry.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a civil litigation paralegal, experience with construction law is preferred. Bachelor's/Associate Degree or Paralegal Certificate is a plus.
Must have experience filing in state and federal court.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
