Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise a unit of 5-8 claims staff and manage their caseloads proactively. Adhere to file handling standards, NARS Best Practices, state statutes, and requirements for passing audits by regulatory agencies, carriers, and clients. Write well-crafted emails and LLRs internally and externally. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's mission and values. Maintain confidentiality of client, company, and personnel information. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to meet company objectives. Review and respond to claim appeals and grievances; investigate and address complaints. Follow NARS policies and procedures. Lead by example to foster a culture of service and continuous improvement. Provide leadership to achieve key business goals. Assign accountability for outcomes and ensure adjusters meet required deadlines. Communicate clearly and provide proper direction. Track trends by program and unit; be familiar with the team’s claims for client inquiries. Confidently discuss claims with clients. Manage corrective actions per Human Resource guidelines. Qualification Requirements: Education / Licensing: High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or higher preferred. 7+ years of claims and litigation experience, preferably in the relevant line of business. 2+ years of claims supervisory or related experience. Claims designation (AIC, ARM, CPCU, SCLA, or other industry-related certifications). Ability to obtain or possess a Florida Adjuster’s license or other required licenses. We offer a base salary of $100,000 - $150,000, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Salary is determined by location, skills, education, and experience. We value pay transparency and internal equity. The salary range is full base salary; hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow for future growth. Our compensation package is competitive and comprehensive.
