Department/Unit: Pediatric Emergency Department Work Shift: Day Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61 Job Description Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse III to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team. This role plays a vital part in creating a compassionate and caring environment for our patients, their families, and our colleagues. Key Responsibilities: Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, while documenting as required by policy and regulations. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions. Assess and evaluate patient needs and their responses to care provided. Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions. Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Administer medications, both over-the-counter and prescription, as ordered. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients. Direct and guide ancillary personnel to maintain high standards of professional nursing. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree. Current Registered Nurse license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Medical-Surgical or Progressive Care settings. Exceptional communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills. Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving tools, with demonstrated ability to contribute to quality improvement in patient care.
