This position is located on site in Phoenix, AZ.

This is what your day will look like:

  • Review, analyze and process loan draws for commercial construction projects; evaluate property inspection reports, invoices, lien waivers, and construction budgets to assure they support the amount of funding requested.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Relationship Management and Loan Closing teams to set up loan budgets that comply with the loan approval.
  • Work directly with the bank customer to resolve budget, documentation or payout concerns.
  • Engage with Credit and Loan Administration groups to follow internal disciplines for responsible portfolio management for your assigned portfolio.
  • Schedule and direct pre-construction discussion with Borrower, Builder, and Loan Officer when requested.
  • May administer participation loans, coordinate with participating/lead bank(s).
  • Ensures loan administration is consistent with loan documents, bank and department policies and procedures.
  • Prepare payoff quotes and partial lien releases.
  • Review loans for past due status, insurance coverage, and tickler exceptions.

What you need to bring to the table:

  • 2+ years' experience with commercial real estate loan servicing processes, management of construction loans, loan documentation or other directly related experience.
  • Good knowledge of loan management processes, financial institution standards and loan documentation.
  • Must be accurate, detail oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Must have good problem solving, writing and customer service skills.
  • Good time management. organizational skills, and able to work with deadlines.
  • Good communication and relationship building skills.
  • Solid technical and math skills, especially Excel.
  • Must be comfortable reading and understanding budgets.
  • High School Degree or Equivalent. Prefer advanced coursework in accounting, finance, business or similar discipline. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
