You will work hand in hand with our established clients and internal team on a full suite of construction related projects primarily in the commercial and municipal arena.  Position Overview The Project Manager / Estimator is a key position in our company. You are responsible for working closely with our sales team, project managers, vendors, and clients to develop estimates and manage these projects through final completion.  Position Responsibilities Review plans, specifications, and other contract documents Preparation of cost estimates including labor, equipment, materials, and other miscellaneous costs Coordinate project costs and scope with team Solicit quotes from vendors Review all supplier quotes for complete scope Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and closing out estimates Mange multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish Prepare change orders, quotes, assist in estimating, perform bid analysis on each bid completed; Coordinate bid reviews with operations Help to build and maintain relationships with contractors and customers Issue and track RFI’s and change orders Keep field and office staff up to date on changes Help ensure that projects are being built in accordance with specs and codes Attending project meetings as required Track and manage costs for each project Position Compensation/Benefits $80-100K base salary, depending on experience Monthly stipend for health plan Requirements: Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction, Building Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required 4-7 years’ experience in commercial and/or municipal construction project management and estimating required Strong technical aptitude in reading blueprints Working knowledge of MS Office with advanced Excel skills, Estimating software, bid software, MS Project Deep understanding of commercial construction processes Strong organizational, time management and scheduling skills Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities and work well under pressure Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
