About Our Client
Our client, a nationally recognized general contractor and construction management firm with over two decades of success in commercial and tenant improvement projects, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects across the financial, entertainment, and commercial sectors.
Job Description
Responsibilities for a Commercial Construction Project Manager:
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects, including tenant improvements and building renovations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet quality standards, time lines, and budgets.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, budgets, change orders, and contracts.
- Coordinate all project phases from pre-construction through close-out.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide clear and timely communication with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.
- Manage subcontractor performance, procurement, and contract compliance.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Construction Project Manager:
- 4+ years of experience in commercial building and construction project management.
- Demonstrated experience with tenant improvement, adaptive reuse, and/or historical renovation projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and technical specifications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms).
- Preconstruction experience is preferred.
- Experience with Procore software.
